MANI LAL NAG and PROF. SUBROTO ROYCHOWDHURY. Finally from the great maestro PT. NIKHIL BANERJEE, since 1976, under his personal care and of his own initiative he developed his style of music.
He has performed in ALL INDIA RADIO / DOORDARSHAN at the age of FOURTEEN.
and he has worked as a staff artiste in ALL INDIA RADIO KOLKATA.
HE worked as a music director in NANDIKAR theatre group.
He has been traveled and performed in major FESTIVALS all over the India and abroad,
His performance with melodious strokes of meditative nature, with full dedication towards the Indian classical music.

The radiance of their talent and promise sets the skies afire.
Rupam Ghosh is one of them. In North Indian classical violin Rupam Ghosh is a dazzling star.
From the child hood he had tremendous interest in Indian classical music. He started to play violin at his child age(9 years).From the beginning he proved his competency. Rupam started giving his performances in the year 1980 and from then on his chariot of success is going on. His performances have been telecast from many T.V channels. He performed in Calcutta, Delhi, Madras, Mumbai, Benaras, Bhubaneswar, Gwalior, etc.
He has toured in United Kingdom, Bangladesh also for playing pure Indian classical concerts.
His concerts were broadcasted many times from All India Radio New Delhi.
Rupam was also awarded by Calcutta University as a young artist in the year 1981-82.
In many occasions his tonal quality, technique of violin playing and ragdari was appreciated by his Gurujee, the living legend, world-renowned Sarod maestro Ustad Amjad ali Khan and many other senior musicians and obviously by public.

Subrata De born in 1970 was initiated in the art of playing Hindustani Classical Music - Sitar at the tender age of seven under the guidance of Shri Amarjeet Singh of Jamshedpur and later on obtained training from Suramani Bauri Bandhu Sethi of Bhubaneswar, Orissa from where he has imbibed the essential elements of Sitar with great devotion and after 10 years he placed himself in the hands of Sitar Maestro Pandit Manilal Nag of Calcutta of Vishnupur Gharana, His Father Shri Bhutnath De is also an eminent vocalist of Hindustani Classical Music. Now, Subrata is involved with various musical organizations as a lecturer in Sitar.
Subrata has given numerous performances in various International & major festivals all over India and many countries in abroad namely Switzerland, Finland, Estonia, Cuba, Brazil, Panama, Guatemala, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Nicaragua, Peru, Columbia, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Paraguay, USA, Armenia, Austria, Ireland, Holland, Germany, Sweden, South Africa, Reunion, South Korea, Hong Kong….. , as a Solo and an Accompanist and also dedicated himself to extend and create an environment of Classical Music in rural areas of India and in Abroad with leading organizations.
